This section crosses two completely different
environments as it passes from a winding path, carved out of the earth shaped
by the gorges, to the flat terrain of the island. The fact that there are
gorges on this section of the path means that several different natural spaces
exist. Crossing the important gorge at Cala en Porter, there is a marsh just
behind the beach. The path continues towards the gorge at Cala des Canutells,
this is smaller than the one at Cala en Porter, but still surprises with its
elm groves. Other minor gorges are also passed on this route; the ones at
Binidalí and Biniparratx have charming scenary. The final part of the path
leaves behind the gorges to turn into a typical Minorcan countryside scene
consisting of farmland and bushes lined with endless dry stone walls.
