Son Bou

Son Bou is the largest beach of the island, as well as the most inhabited due to the number of tourist services it offers. It is a beach open out to the sea (2500 metres long and 105 metres wide) with fine sand. The tourist centre is located to the east. The central and western part is lined by a dune system and also a marsh area of large extension. The far west point, near the Atàlix outlet, is visited by nudists.

Son Bou is accessed by the road which leads from Alaior.
