Saturday, June 16The Vigil with the Sheep, C/ Formentera, 48 bis. All night long.

Sunday, June 20 ("The day of the lamb")

09.00 h. Fabiol’s first sound, at the C/ plaça de la Catedral, 8.

Throughout the entire day, the procession through the streets of the historic center of Ciutadella, visit the Town Hall, the Episcopal, "Foc i Fum", the Municipal Hospital, social organizations, mansions and "Posades" of "cavallers "

20.00 h. “Traditional Hazelnut Throwing” at the Constitucion Av.

June 22

21.00 h. Street Bonfires around the centre of Ciutadella enlivened by musical groups


June 23 (Eve of Saint John’s Festivities)

14.00 h. at the Caixer Senyor residence (plaça de la Catedral, 8) the official start of the famous horseback gathering of the traditional representatives ( the“caixers” and “cavallers”).

18.00 h. the gathering arrives at Born Sq. and parades there: “Caragol des Born”. 

Afterwards, “vespres” at the Sant Joan de Misa Church, “Traditional Hazelnut throwing” at the Contramurada Av. and then “The Running of the Horses”: Caragol at Ses Voltes and Caragol at Santa Clara Church.

June 24 (Saint John's day)

08.00 h. Gathering of the “caixers and cavallers”

The events of the morning (test of the medieval games or just (Pla de Sant Joan), Corregudes to Caragol Ses Voltes and Santa Clara) end with the "Beguda" (banquet) of riders and at the home of caixer capellà, after Mass at the Cathedral.

17.00 h (around). Gathering of the “caixers and cavallers”.

After this traditional reception in front of the Town Hall . The running of the horses at Santa Clara, “Caragol des Pla” and medieval horseback games.
Then at the end, “Caragols” (horses roundabouts) at Ses Voltes and Caragol in Santa Clara.
Late-night Fabiol’s last sound, at the Caixer Capella’s house (plaça des Born, 8) .
